I’ve been on a 70s music kick today – my playlist has Aphrodite’s Child, Black Sabbath, Blue Oyster Cult, Head East, The Jam, Kiss, Nektar, and Yes. OK, so The Jam isn’t really 70s, and the Yes is their first album, so technically that’s 69, and the Black Sabbath is their reunion tour from 1998, but it’s all songs from their early albums. So mostly 70s today. And I had Thin Lizzy on yesterday, their live album. Yippie. I’ll bet you’re glad to know that!
And yes, I’m up way too late. Don’t like going to bed until I’m absolutely wiped out. Then I get up late for whatever it is I’m supposed to be doing, having gotten not nearly enough sleep, so I’m rushing and tired for the rest of the day, but then I do it again that night! So here it is, almost 4:00 AM, and I’m thinking about making some more changes to this blog. Maybe I’ll skip the changes and go to bed.
Double-booked myself again – I told a friend I’d have lunch with him tomorrow, but I’m supposed to be at Bible study for lunch. He’s not really a friend who’d appreciate a good Bible study. I’ll have to reschedule with him.
I noticed last week that IUMA is gone. Too bad, that was a good site. Losers had some songs on there, so since it’s vanished I put them on my South County Sound site (http://www.southcountysound.com/losers), right in there with Sea Of Red, Bad Hairs, and the venerable Flying Ass Monkeys. That’s surely something worth knowing about!
